| For the past 23 years, I have done much of my painting on the island of Jamaica, on the South coast, in a small corner of St. Elizabeth called Pedro Plains. After a five-month painting residency there in 2001 and 2002, I presented a solo show of my Jamaica paintings at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center in 2002. The people in these paintings are good friends of many years. Most are watercolors, painted on the spot, but some are done later, inspired by sketches. | ||||
